W00t! Christmas L00t!

I made out like a bandit this year! I got my "Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!" Well, the equivilent at least for ME!

I Got a KINDLE! YIPPEEEEEEE!!!! (I've already downloaded about 800 books onto it, I'm not kidding.)

Oh it gets even better....

I got a one of a kind, hand-crafted by a world-renowned Master Luthier (Bill Neely) Mountain Dulcimer!
It's has a Walnut Body, Spruce Top and Maple Finger board.... Unnnnnnn. I am very lucky that I have this for 2 reasons...

1.) Not something I would normally buy for myself because a custom made instrument is BLEEDING EXPENSIVE and Bill Neely is a Master craftsman and known throughout the bluegrass music world for his instruments...

2.) My parent's got a deal on this because my Mom's little brother, my uncle Steve, married Bill Neely's daughter! Thanks to Laura for helping make this beautiful instrument built especially for me possible! <3 <3 <3 XOXOXOXO

I also got a box of chocolates *yummy* and some really cute Kitty socks. :)

Hahahaha! Can you play too? Actually I haven't picked one up since I was about 14. My parents made me play the stupidest instruments when I was a kid.

Hooray for the Kindle. I hope your experience with it is a positive one. I was thinking of getting one but then Amazon deleted 1984 from all the Kindles and that sorta scared me off it knowing that something like that could happen. Not that I have much time to do a lot of reading (insert boo hoo here)

I DID however, make the best turkey I have ever made yesterday. I'll post the recipe.

D'oh. That sounded wrong... no real instrument is stupid! Maybe awkwardest instruments is a better term? Honestly, dulcimer and French horn? I should have asked them for an accordion, I'd have gotten one. When all my friends had trumpets, drum sets and trombones, I felt like an oddball.
