Our New House

We put in a BID on this house: http://www.century21.com/idxproperty/index.jsp?id=ERA2569899
and we just accepted the counter offer of $289,900 so all that is left is for the seller to officially accept out acceptance and then the home inspection and this house is OURS!

WHOOOPIE!

Mom and Dad will be moving in with John and I into the complete finished basement which is practically a 2 bedroom apartment with a great room in and of itself, which is awesome!

Here's a slide show of some pictures: http://vt.realbiz360.com/Listing-79152.html

I'll take more as we move in as Before and After shots after we paint and put our "stamp" on the place.

I am so excited. W00t!

Other than that well not much to say, I've been sick and don't know what is wrong yet, I'll say more about it when I myself know more.

I'm not dead, just ill lately.

Oh man. I hope you feel better. The house though? Absolutely freakin' gorgeous and what a price. That's just incredible. I love how airy and light it is. It's got great energy, and whoever built it followed all the most important Feng Shui rules. I'm a sucker for open floor space and nice high ceilings. You dun good.

Good reason indeed! Besides, I'll need to see it after you've put your own touches on it!

John is worried about the huge vaulted ceilings in the great room when you walk in... he'll need scaffolding to paint that high. :)
I'm just thrilled will have a proper Guest bedroom with a bathroom for people to come visit (HINT HINT HINT)

:)

You don't actually need scaffolding. You can buy one of those long extensions with the roller trimmer. It's so high up, you don't have to be dead on accurate. We did that, and you can't even see the edge up there, but if you get up close it still looks pretty good.

We have a guest bedroom, but really it's just another bedroom that we're not using. I won't have a proper guest bedroom til I finish the basement. -_-
