Well the wedding and the mini-honeymoon is over. The wedding was perfect and beautiful on the Belle of Louisville, we had the whole ship to ourseleves for three and a half short hours. The weather was in the upper seventies, clear and breezy, the cake delicious, the ceremony stunning and OMG did John look HOT HOT HOT in his 19th century tux. I had a quite yummy groom! (I will post pictures on our wedding website when I get them back.) (I have already posted pictures of the hen party and rehearsal dinner last night.)

We took just a long weekend and headed up to Ohio to Kings Island and stayed a a nice little Bed and Breakfast and went to the amusement park on Sunday. Boy I love thrill rides, but I am so not a teenager anymore! I am sore from the roller coasters but it was a lot of fun.

We drove home monday and I went around all over yesterday returning tuxes and changing my name at the back, taking back the rented pillars to the florist, etc.. Back to work this morning.

I need sleep now, so that's all folks for now

*hughughughughug* I'm so sorry I couldn't make it, girlie. The photos look great (you guys look so darling together), and I can't wait to check out the actual wedding pics. Love to John.

Yay D! I'm so happy for you. I'm sorry I couldn't make it out. With my father having been in the hospital and everything I was running out of vacation/sick days to use ;_;. I'm also sorry I didn't get your present to you before the wedding XD BUT! Have no fear. I do have one question. Did you take John's name? (I know this is a dumb question, but hey you never know these days!) Expect a goody in the mail within the next week-week and a half from me~ <33

Hi hon! Sounds like everything went perfectly, I can't wait to see the pics.

Did my gift finally show? Sorry if it was late, I thought it would make it in time but it looks like it didn't.

Can't wait to see you at con and talk to you soon.

The wedding was lovely, the groom was handsome and the bride absolutely radiant.

You done good, girl. :oD

Thank you for inviting us, we had a fabulous time and it was great to see you. Kevin's already talking about going back up to L-ville for another fun weekend, so maybe we can plan to hang out while there? I didn't really get a chance to get to know John. And I think he and Kevin have tons in common music-wise. Kevin also does much of his music via synths.

Congrats again.

That would be AWESOME! There are a lot of neat places here to visit. The first weekend in October is a MASSIVE art festival literally right on my front steps. The St. James Art Fair takes up SEVERAL city blocks here. It was John and my first official "date" and it was mindblowing how much art was out there left and right. That's one option, but there are a lot more things to do around here too, I just love Louisville and John loves to talk music, I'm sure Ken and he won't run out of things to talk about. xoxoxo

BTW, what type of musician is Kevin? (Composer, Pianist, Guitarist?) John plays the piano and is mainly a composer and my Dad is a fantastic guitarist. (Mainly Jazz/Calumet City blues) I used to be a singer until they poked a hole in my vocal chords when I was on life support. I went to VanderCook college of music too.

Kevin plays guitar (mostly jazz) and piano. He also does some jazz/new age-ish stuff on synthesizer. You can hear some of his stuff on his MySpace:

He doesn't really play much anymore after having gotten burned out while trying to make a living at it.

That was the same for my dad, now that he just plays for himself he loves the music again. His den looks like a guitar center! LOL You can hear him play on youTube:

And I have some clips too on mine:

Sweet! I'm glad it went well. (And sorry I wasn't able to get the RSVP back to you--I got it in the mail just fine, but then it disappeared in the blackhole that is mine and gavic's room and I just came across it this morning!)
