Who knew I could actually logically cook if I got hungry enough?
Off I went to Root around in the pantry and frigde...
Soba Noodles boiled in water with a tablespoon of sugar (Cause I hate salt)
and I never cook a whole bag, I'd never eat that much, I make a single bowl full at a time
I take just about 30-50 noodles out of it (Like a dime to nickle size in diameter when bunched in your hand)
Some chicken breast diced in a fry pan with (Measuraments approximate because i just throw stuff in there and never measure anything)
10-15 small peices of pre-cooked diced chicken breast from a bag (Tyson brand I believe, It's meant for salads and found near the lunchmeat in the store)
1 tsp sugar
1 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp teriyaki sauce
2 tsp cold water
I let that simmer and cook down on extremely low heat while I fuss about with the noddles.
Bring about 2 cups water to boil
dump in noodles and bring back to boil for 2 minutes
Dump in an additional cup of ICE COLD water
Bring back to boil and then turn off fire and let noodles cook in the hot water for 5 minutes
strain and rinse in cold water
dump into fry pan with chicken stir it all up just a few seconds to warm noddles back up
eat an enjoy.
Done and it tasted pretty good too!
semi carmalized teriyaki chicken in soba noodles... sorta.
Just on the sweet side of savory cause again I just don't care for salty food unless it's Pork Rinds, popcorn or potato chips and even then I buy the reduced salt stuff.
Prep time in total about 15 minutes cause I R LAZY and detest cooking.
There's about half of it left and I'm full... anyone want my leftovers?
