The weekend report

Well, my Parents have arrived in Virginia safe and sound for out family reunion and caro_t is here for a week at my place where we will act like rabid obsessive teenage fangirls! Muwhahah. I feel eighteen again having an extended slumber party!

We were up ungodly late bullshitting and tonight we are drivig down to Los Angeles to hit UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, she's never been, I'll call you shiroioji on the drive down, then back on Sunday.

Monday we've been invited over to Shawn's to watch Aeris' first firework display. How cute!

The hands still hurt, and so far there's fuck all they know what's wrong.

My diabetes if FUCKED it looks like my Type II is turning into TYPE I so we're trying various meds right now and if those continue to fail, it's onto Insulin.

But it's okay, I'd rather be Insulin dependent than continue to have such exceedingly high test levels.

And that's pretty much it!

Those of you at AX this weekend have a great time!

The rest of you

Yes I saw that! You come in way after I leave and LEAVE way before I come in.

You must be bored out of your mind at night!

I never use the elevator, it's way on the other side of the building where I sit. I go up the backstairs.

I hope you can get your diabetes under control. My mom's type I. If you so end up insulin dependent...at least there are more options now though other than sticking yourself 4x a day.

I hope you have fun this weekend!!!!

D, if you have to go on insulin ask your doctor to start you out with the pump! My mom has been diabetic since 1974 (insulin dependent). She got the pump on Monday (june 27, 2005) she said it was the best thing she could have ever done! I believe most insurance covers the cost of the pump? Tell your Mom about, it if she does not already know about it! The pump did come out quite a few years ago, but they have had a lot of advances in the pump technology since! My Mom even asked Dr. Black about it when we (before you moved away) lived in Indiana, but he told her that it would not be a good idea for her until they improved the pump a bit.

On too another subject I put up a gallery of the kids I babysit. I know you love kids as much as I do and these munchkins are just too cute.

I know all about the pump. ^_^
No worries. We'll see how it goes, I'm still on the med route right now.

I'll look later, I just got back from LA and I''m exhausted.

I really really hope you stay the med route! I don't remember if I told you or not that my Dad is type 2 also. Anyway did your doctor look in to your hand problem maybe being caused from "diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy"? My mom has that in her legs, and occasionally in her hands. I told her what you said it was like, and she said it's sounds like the same thing I have. It's caused from poor circulation or working with your hands a lot as I'm sure you do.

Neither doctor thinks my hands are related. Already asked about it.
