You don't fit into any of the above categories, so perhaps before you get angry or confused, check what other religion(s) you scored the highest on. For example, you might be a Christian-Pagan, or a Discordian-Wiccan. Just use a bit of logic. However, according to this test, you're simply 100% YOU. You don't fit into any of the world's boxes.

I'm actually a DIEST. It took me years to find the right definition of my beliefs. I never knew there were so many people out there that thought like me, and never knew we were actually called something. I thought I was just an oddball who thought about things and never really mentioned them to people. This Website is run by a Friend of Mine John Armstrong (The musician I pimped on my Lj a few months back.)

It's quite informative.

It was a fluke I found it. He gave me feedback for one of my original stories and in his e-mail signature was the link.

I clicked it out of curiosity since his letter to me was really intelligent and he stroked my ego quite nicely without beeing over the top flattering. And after my first look around his site I went

"So THAT'S what you call what I think!!"

I had no idea my opinions on religion and the Man Upstairs was

A.) Called something specific
B.) Shared by apparently a lot of people I really admired from throught history
C.) Actually quite common

Needless to say after a random passing e-mail from John and our subsequent conversations since we've got a nice friendship going now.

Small world thanks to the Internet

and Quite informative and enlightening at times!

I really enjoyed the section on the Founding Fathers...:)

For all the schmuck on the Internet...once in awhile you find a gem.

I love his letter to Christianity -- it was like he crawled into my head and wrote down ALL the questions I'd asked myself in my confusion over the dogma and blond faith with my rational mind rebels.

It's validating in a way that over the years and the conclusions I've come to on my own, without knowledge of anyone else's opinions to sway my though processes, have gone down the exact same path as some of the greatest minds the world has ever known.

My own revelation was two fold

1.) atonishment that without influence I have thought about the same things as Galileo Galilei, Bejamin Franklin. It made me go "WHOA, I'm not as stupid as I thought. perhaps"

2.) Validated that I'm not alone in a world where if you don't subscribe to an organized religion you're going to "hell" or will not be "Saved" if you question blind faith in rhetoric.

Please let us survive the next four years... Perhaps Bush should look to our first president who knew how to keep organized religion OUT OF HIS OFFICE.

George Washington was a deist too.
