Okay those in the FIREFOX browser know...

I love this browser with ONE EXCEPTION...

my LJ replies that are delivered to my outlook.... when I type in my little blurb in the little box provided and hit "REPLY" and it opens my firefox broswer....

I get error messages. It worked FINE with IE. I changed NO SETTINGS

Why can't firefox talk to LJ via outlook? (And before you suggest it, I tried THUNDERBIRD and it can't communicate with LJ via the e-mail reply function. You have to go and reply at the site, and that will piss me off REAL QUICK. I like being able to reply from my outlook just hitting the little "reply" button and moving onto my next message.

Anyone out there know what I gotta tweak to get that to work?
What Extention I need to download and plug in?

D - Befuddled

and EDIT:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY windtear!!!!!

Hiya, umm, this is iluvikarishinji's sister. I thought you might want to be notified about Akadot.com's Halloween art contest, if you haven't heard about it already.

Anyways, it's @ http://www.akadot.com/article.php?a=234. Looks like they're giving away some nice stuff. ^^;;

I was looking at some of the Extensions available for Firefox yesterday. There are 13 pages of them. I know I saw one relating to Live Journal. You might want to check that out and see if it helps.

Unfortunately, I check there already, and the only thing I found was a blog client.

I didn't find a fix like this, it's odd-ball.

Did it do this for you right from the getgo, or is it a new thing? I love how firefox works.. when it's brand new. For some reason, though, as time goes by, the thing degrades and various bits and bobs start acting weird or just plain break. (without me having installed new extentions) I've tried clean reinstalling it twice, and the damn thing *still* degrades. I ended up switching back to Maxthon, I'm going to wait until Firefox releases its first stable version before going back to it.

Also, I think that extension Sharon saw was a lj client, it wouldn't have anything to do with your email replies.

Immediate problem. I can click all the LINKS in a message and they open fine.

It's just the communication on the "post reply" function, it cannot pick up what I've typed and the browser show's ERROR:

One or more errors occurred processing your request. Please go back, correct the necessary information, and submit your data again.

* Comment not posted: POST required, or missing parameter.

I've no clue what the problem is, I'm stumped.

Firefox doesn't seem to like e-mail outside of Thunderbird. I've tried looking all over Firefox's settings to tell it what my main default e-mail program is, and bleh. It just plain doesn't seem to like it at all ;_;. Even clicking someone's e-mail link in Firefox ends up opening an IE page to my Yahoo Xx;.

There has to be a plug in somewhere. It might just be because Outlook is Microsoft and Firefox is Mozilla. But still.. there should be a plugin somewhere.

I'll keep my eyes peeled.

But that's the problem, I TRIED THUNDERBIRD, that didn't work either.

It's a communication problem with JUST the "Reply" button, all the other links out of Outlook Like "Reply at Webpage" work just FINE.... just that submit/reply button doesn't.

And it's the same for BOTH Outlook and Thunderbird so it's not the program itself really it's the LJ coding on those pages, some javascript probably it's not liking.

It's making my brain hurt
