Back from the PCP

Well, I'm going to be getting an ultra sound of my pelvis. I have a history of Ovarian Cysts, and Uterine Cancer runs in my family, and seeing as the PAIN is focused in the right side of my womb where there is NOTHING has both me and my Doctor worried. There is no ovary or tube on the right side, yet all the pain is focused there. And the last time I had a cyst I had the same symptoms. The day before my period I am sick as a dog with nausea, the next day I am flat out in pain. For the past 3 periods it's the same thing, and getting progressively worse, so better safe than sorry and get an ultrasound and see if there are any masses in there.

*fingers crossed it's just a benign cyst causing the woes*

I realize that it's a little higher up than the lower right quadrant, but I remember my oldest having pains all around that part of her abdomen when she had appendicitis... she was sicker than a dog when that happened... I'd definitely get that checked...

That's gone. The last time I had a Cyst removed in 1996 it had really stretched out my fallopean tube (It weighed 5 pounds O_o) and in 1996 the QUACK Doctor said "You're young, it will shrink back to shape"

Remember in 2001 when I posted I was having UBER bad pains at work so I came home, thinking I was having an appenditcius and it took Craig 6 hours to take me to the ER?

I showed all the signs, so they went in, and it was NOT that, the stretched out fallopean tube has twisted to all fuck and cut off all blood flow to my right ovary, which had gone gangrenous.

In another 5 hours I'd have been DEAD-DEAD_DEADSKI

So they ripped out the Ovary and the tube and part of my Uterus and my Appendix while they were in there.

So at least I know it's not appendcitus *WHew*

I'm just afraid I've got a growth in there again on that side. Plenty of room for it to grow un-noticed on that side.

The doctor also said that sometimes the pain "Radiates" And I could have one on the left side, but the nerve it's affecting could be triggering the contraction of muscles on the right side.

I just hope it's minor and can be dealt with easily.

That's right... I forgot about that... well, at least you don't have to worry about that anymore...

::crosses fingers, too::

Could it maybe be fibroids? I've got some brewing and my periods have been getting progressively more painful. Ugh.

It might be, we'll check all the possibilities.

I mean I've always had "Normal" cramps, these past few months I feel like I'm giving BIRTH here.

Wauuuuuuuugh. I hope that

a) the doctors find out for sure what's up with you -- I so hate it when, after all the testing, all they can seem to do is scratch their heads;

b) it can be fixed with a minimum of fuss and feathers.

In the meantime, many postive vibes and prayers going up from this end.

::careful hug::

That's what it was for me... a huge ovarian cyst on the right and severe endometriosis. The hysterectomy was the best thing that ever happened to me. Keep us posted, okay?

Whoa are we twins?

My first Cyst weighed five fucking pounds. Endemetirosis was a side effect of that nasty boy. It totally deformed my right fallopean tube so badly that 4 years later the entire ovary and tube just shrivled and died. (Turned gangrenous and almost cost me my life.) So they went in and removed the right side tube/ovary and part of the uterine wall.

I wish they'd just rip the whole thing out really, I don't need it, I can't have kids anyway (Too many other problems in addition to the bad plumbing) so having a period every 32 days is just like "WHY? Do you think I like bleeding just for the hell of it?"
