Remember my pet count earlier?

Hime was preggers about 5-6 weeks ago, when she didn't bring the babies, we assumed they died.

Two survived, one an exact miniature of Hime (The little Orange striped tabby - think 9 lives Morris the Cat looking) Only the baby has blue eyes as opposed to Hime's Green

and a little chocolate colored one, with blue eyes and little white spots on his/her toes and one spot of white on an eye. I can NEVER tell the sex of kittens even picking them up an looking, and I can't pick these two up yet, they still hiss a me, but we just met. ^_^

They are currently spitting at me, but I'll win them over, I just gave them FOOD.

These I'm getting to young enough that once I get them used to me touching them and breaking them into human contact, I'm taking them to be adopted (I cannot keep four cats, I feed the neighborhood as it is seeing as they steal Hime's and Chibi's food I leave out.

They are soooooooo CUTE! WAI!

Names are:

The little fuzz ball Orange SOCKET (Since she/he looks like she stuck a paw in an outlet and frizzed.) She looks to have a harelip of sorts, lip to nose looks a little deformed right in the center fold there... is that common for cats?

And the little chestnut brown one (with milky spots) is COCOA-PUFF

I just could NOT feed anymore feral cats.

I Put food out for Chibi and Hime, but there are last count of Cats I see helping themselves until I come outside and shoo them off

1 large Male Siamese (Chocolate and Creme colored I think he's daddy of Hime's brood) He's gorgeous but He's HUGE and mega fat and collared to boot... but allowed to run free. If you let your cat you bought and collared run free, for god's sake NEUTER HIM! I can't adopt *ALL* the feral strays!

2 grey male tabby's who constantly fight and howl in the yard. I call one Otosan, I think he's the father of BOTH Hime and Chibi... they have very similiar faces and markings and vocal sounds. He showed up one day with a limp and me being the sucker I am didn't run him off and let him eat.

Now he's fine and always here somewhere. The other is probably his son, they look identical Otosan is just larger and older.

1 black male, very pretty, too pristine looking to be a total stray, but he's really shy and hardly is ever around. I see him ever few weeks for a second or two.

in addition to Chibi and Hime.

I only intentionally take care of those two -- and now the babies until I can "rescue" them. I didn't get to Hime soon enough, even though I totally tamed her, She'll sit in my lap and everything.

Chibi is still after months only half tamed.

If she submits to me, I only get her ass in the air to scratch. LOL

Took me 6 months practically just to TOUCH HER, and even now I touch her just briefly and I have to stretch to reach her before she changes her mind and I'm left in favor of the food or my car. (SHe's always under my car.) There's no way I'm gonna break her/humanize her at this point, she's way skittish. I'm the ONLY person she allows to touch her.

Hime you have to step OVER just to get in the house, and then if you leave the door open, she follows you in. She greets me when I get home from work usually demanding her evening soft food.... screw the whiskas!(She's a talker, and when she wants soft food, she lets you know. "YO! BITCH... LOOK THE PRINCESS IS TALKING HERE.... ENOUGH WITH THE KITTY KIBBLE GIMME FANCY FEAST MEOW MEOW NOW!!!")

SHe's definitely our cat, the front stoop is her home/domain.

I'm sure I will, we have a great Humane Socitey in town, they're out EVERY SATURDAY with pet adoptions in the Mall Parking lot.

Yes I go get puppy and kitty fixes like a DRUG every weekend.

They already know I'll be bringing in the Kittens if I can.

Short answer, yup, it can be perfectly normal. Some kittens look a little squished/deformed around their nose when they're born but it generally sorts itself out as they grow in size and begin to 'fit' themselves... lol

Kitties are indeed very cute >^-^< even ones that aren't your own, that your only fostering and are currently chewing on your ear- *extracts protesting neonatal kitten from ear and wanders off to find milk formula and feeding bottle*

lol >^-^<

Na, 'tis called "Emma-and-C can't leave their work bloody well at work!" which consequently means that a fair portion of the time I'm not at work poking animals and such forth, I'm at home poking animals and suchforth... I think about the only difference is that the vet practice has a larger kettle...

Life? What's one of them, then?

And I'm having a fab vacation so far. I've spent the last two nights talking to drunk-semi drunk canadian boys who want to adopt me and save me from the states. lol
