Map Making

This took ALLLLL DAY!

about 9 hours here, and let's just say the making of a map is easy ...

It's the labeling and the DETAILS that take FOREVER!
And yes, every name means something, from my friends to my family (I combined your names here and there and misspelled them on purpose, but you've now become a part of this world whether you like it or not) to actual literal meanings...

I think for my first map, this came out pretty decent however.

WHEW!

Is "utterly speechless at such talent" good enough feedback?

I can do you a generic titleless Map with the cartography

The labeling is the HARD part and what took me the longest.

O_o

You can just take the blank map and import it into Pshop and add the roads and typeface and such if you don't mind a random shaped, random lake/rivers/mountains etc....

I can give you land mass, up to you where you stick the little towns and stuff (Unless you want me to put the towns and roads linking them on it where they fit and you just name 'em later.)

That won't take but an hour or two.

OR.... you can do what I did...

and go to http://www.profantasy.com

and download the Demo Version of CC2 (Campaign Cartography 2)

and do it yourself.

Nifty little program with a 14 day free trial

I just went ahead and did it for you - color and Sepia

Sepia PNG file

I added the roads and stuff just where (I THOUGHT) they would logically build routes based on geography.

Woooh. I have no words. It's so cool.

(By the way, it was terrible to tease us by saying our names are there. I've spotted Lake Ashura and Saishi Izumi, but I don't recognise anyone else.)

I do like the name of the lake just above Riksgate, though. ^__^

THey are they but All messed Up... I mooshed together TONS of names EVERYWHERE

For instance "Lorbast"
Lorena and Lady Bast :PPPPPP

Edvic Pass? My Uncle Ed and Aunt Vicki

EVERYTHING on this map means something.

And if I'd have had more room on this map I'd have carried on with the cast.

But sadly I have so MANY people I wanted to get on here and not enough ROOM.

But that's NOT to say they don't get a mention in the fic as the Characters pass through an INN, or a small village too small for the map proper.

^__________^

I like when things mean something, and believe me, I have a HUGE list of mishmoshed names here.

Mom picked out (Janus = Janice)(Stefanton = Stephan my Dad) the names off my hand written list. I've 20 I didn't get to use.

And She Came up with Jabonni (JB and Bonnie) and Alexwillow (Alexander and Willadean) My grandparents.

^_^

Ste. Fayette (Steve and Fayetta my Aunt and Uncle)
Pelin (Pete and Linda - again Aunt and Uncle)

Jimilea (Jimmy Lee my Deceased Uncle)
North Rogefield (ANother unlce, Roger, deceased)

I could go on and on...

I was going to say rude things about coupling with Lorena, but I don't want to ruin the moment.

Hey, listen. I don't smell, okay? -_-;; And what's wrong with my perky little mounds that barely pass for boobs?

It's full size, all the bigger the program base lets you create sadly on the demo version.
