If you friend me, don't be offended if I DON'T friend you back. It's nothing personal, I have a hard enough time keeping up with the people I do have on my friends list. If I check out your journal and all you post are Quizzes or the chat room conversation you had with your message buddies. I'm not going to friend it. If you are obviously in HIGH SCHOOL, I'm not going to friend it unless you are exceptionally verbose and witty for your age. Because frankly I'm twice your age if you're in high school, can we say GENERATION GAP?

I'll talk to you all you want here in mine, I just don't need to know about every quiz you take, every class you hate, every fart you tooted, every boy you "crunched" on during lunch period.... M'Kay?

If I have UNFRIENDED you.. it's for the same reasons. It's not that I do not like you. I just find your journal kinda, well, BORING. If the above is ALL you post, it puts me to sleep. And do you really need me there if you're not talking about anything important (As in substantial, MEATY, INTERESTING), or talking about your life beyond the mundane "I ate a PB&J sandwich.. URP!..."????

The above paragraph sounds BAD when you read it, I know, because I just re-read it and had to clarify. I realize journals are FOR THE MUNDANE STUFF. And I really do like the MUNDANE stuff from my friends (As in people I've know beyond a nifty e-mail/journal name). When I mean your journal is BORING, I mean you are not putting any of your personality into it, it's a sterile, one liner, blah, nothing, blah, quiz, I just farted, blah, blah, bleh...".

I realize I am probably digging this whole deeper, I hope you understand what I am trying to say. I mean there is "mundane life stuff", then there is just "sterile nothingness let me just post a quiz with no commentary" journal keepers.

So... Before my lack of grace kills me here...

Don't have hurt feelings, I'm not being malicious. Just trying to keep track of people I associate with without scrolling through PAGES of stupid Quiz graphics!

I have no problems with people friend-ing me or NOT friend-ing me and posting in my journal.

If I make a public post, it's public and I've no problems with you replying to posts.

You don't have to "friend" me to post.

And you don't have to apologize for posting without friend-ing me.

I wrote my comment, but realized that it was pretty long, I'll just email it to you.

*hollers down hole* You need any help getting out? *gigglesnort*

Actually, I couldn't have said it any better myself! In fact, I'd probably would've dug myself to the other side of the world if I attempted to.

So, does this mean you don't wish to read about my 6-year-old's fascination with his ability to fart on demand?

Babs (who is feeling very silly today)

Actually, THAT is something I like to read.

It's got PERSONALITY to it.

Just don't make a Quiz graphic for it.

Don't worry!

I don't even know where to begin in creating a Quiz graphic, let alone one like that (though I do have this mental image of a bare bottom with the word "poot" below it).

Same here, I wish I could make certain friends learn how to USE that feature.

Gee, D, I fill just about all of those criteria, and I'm still on your friends list. XD I must be pretty special.

Well, yeah, But then I also know you in REAL LIFE so there's a difference there. I keep you around on the "Just in case she might need something" scenario. But I do basically ignore your AIM posts.

I don't blame you. :p The sheer amount of inside jokes might just fry your brain.

I usually do, however, find your posts interesting.
